MUSCAT : Zikrea and Khizer delivered electrifying performances at the PSM Ground during the ongoing PSC Ramadan Cricket Tournament, stealing the spotlight for Jazz Boys and A.R. Roshni respectively in two high-scoring encounters.

Zikrea’s 24-ball blitz powers Jazz Boys

In the first match of the evening, Jazz Boys posted a mammoth 150 runs in 8 overs against Meerath Restaurant, thanks to a sensational knock by Zikrea. The hard-hitting batter smashed a whirlwind 76 runs off just 24 balls, including nine sixes and three fours, in a breathtaking display of power-hitting.

Chasing 151, Meerath Pizza managed 102 runs in their allotted 8 overs. Sajid fought hard with a solid 40-run knock, but the target proved too steep.

Zikrea was named Man of the Match for his explosive innings and received the award from chief guest Dr. Duleep.

Khizer shines with bat and ball for A.R. Roshni

The second match saw A.R. Roshni CXI from Barka take on a strong Indus XI side.

Batting first, A.R. Roshni piled up 145 runs in 8 overs, led by a stunning 61 off just 16 balls, which included eight sixes and two fours.

In response, Indus XI were restricted to just 85 runs. Mansoor Mazher top-scored with 32 runs, while no other batter managed to make a significant contribution.

Khizer impressed with an all-round performance, contributing with the bat and claiming two wickets for 18 runs to seal a comfortable victory for A.R. Roshni.

He was awarded the Man of the Match by PSC Director of Finance, Mr. Imran Toor.

The tournament continues to deliver thrilling cricketing action, drawing enthusiastic crowds to the PSM Ground each evening.
