MUSCAT – India’s IndiGo will resume flights between Mumbai and Muscat from March 3, the airline said on Tuesday, as regional carriers begin restoring operations amid improving airspace conditions.
In a notice to customers and travel partners, IndiGo confirmed that its Mumbai–Muscat–Mumbai service scheduled for Tuesday night has been reopened for sale and is set to operate as planned.
The flights include 6E1267 operating from Mumbai to Muscat and 6E1268 from Muscat to Mumbai.

The airline added that from March 4 onwards, additional services on the Kochi–Muscat–Kochi (COK-MCT-COK), Hyderabad–Muscat–Hyderabad (HYD-MCT-HYD), and Mumbai–Muscat–Mumbai (BOM-MCT-BOM) routes will also operate as part of its continuing schedule restoration.
The announcement comes as airlines across the region progressively reinstate select routes following recent disruptions linked to heightened tensions in the Middle East and temporary airspace restrictions.
IndiGo said the resumption forms part of a carefully planned restoration of its schedule, with safety remaining its highest priority. The airline urged passengers to await confirmation before heading to the airport and said affected customers would be contacted directly through their registered details.
Several carriers have begun restoring services to key destinations including Muscat, Athens, Jeddah and Madinah, while additional repatriation flights are being operated subject to slots and regulatory approvals.
Airlines continue to monitor evolving airspace conditions closely as operations return to normal.
