DUBAI : The United Arab Emirates has announced the temporary partial closure of its airspace as an exceptional precautionary measure, state media reported on Saturday.
The decision comes amid escalating regional tensions following Israel’s attack on Iran, which has prompted several countries in the Gulf to heighten security and aviation measures.
Authorities did not immediately provide details on the duration or scope of the partial closure, but said the step was taken to ensure the safety of air traffic and national security.
