TEHRAN : According to Israeli authorities, the strike was carried out as a “pre-emptive” measure, though further operational details were not immediately disclosed. Reports from Tehran indicated that multiple explosions were heard across parts of the capital, raising fears of a wider regional escalation.
An Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran is preparing for a response and warned it would be a “crushing” one, signaling a potentially significant counteraction in the coming days.
Adding to the heightened rhetoric, the head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee issued a stern warning directed at Israel, stating: “You have embarked on a path whose end will not be in your hands.”

Iranian Ministry of Health also confirmed that hospitals are on high alert and the number of infected individuals will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.
