MUSCAT : The new system features a wide 85 cm opening and a flat table that simulates the treatment environment, allowing for optimal patient positioning. It delivers high-quality imaging at lower radiation doses and incorporates 4D-CT technology with tumour motion tracking during breathing, enabling precise targeting of moving tumors.
Hospital officials described the introduction of the system as a strategic step to elevate service efficiency and enhance the overall patient experience in line with the latest international standards.
