DUBAI — The UAE federal government has announced that all federal ministries, institutions and public sector entities will observe the Eid Al Fitr holiday from Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, March 22, 2026.
In a separate clarification, authorities confirmed that private sector employees will also receive time off for the occasion. The Eid Al Fitr holiday for the private sector will run from Thursday, March 19, to Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Officials added that if the holy month of Ramadan completes 30 days, the private sector break will be extended to include Sunday, March 22.
