Muscat health directorate announces Ramadan working hours

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Muscat has announced official working hours for health institutions during the holy month of Ramadan to ensure continuous access to medical care.

MUSCAT : According to the Directorate, health centres and specialised complexes across Muscat Governorate will operate from Sunday to Thursday under the following schedule:

  • All health centres and specialised complexes will provide morning services from 8 am to 1 pm.
  • Most health centres, in addition to Al Amerat Complex, will operate evening and weekend shifts from 7 pm to 12 midnight.
  • Specialised complexes will also offer afternoon services from 1 pm to 7 pm.

    A number of facilities will continue to operate around the clock. These include Qurayat Hospital, Al Nahda Health Centre, Al Khuwair North Health Centre, and Hay Al Jami Health Centre, all of which will remain open 24 hours a day.

    Meanwhile, certain facilities will operate during the morning shift only. These include Al Khuwair Dermatological Centre, Wadi Al Kabir Health Centre, Al Mina Health Centre, Al Sahel Health Centre, and Al Salam Health Complex.
