MUSCAT : The Ministry announced that the vessel will conduct research activities in the maritime area between Al Musannah and Muscat from February 19 to 21, urging all fishermen and sea-goers to avoid the vessel’s operational routes to prevent interference with ongoing research.
The Ministry also advised mariners to refrain from deploying nets, traps, or any fishing gear at depths of 20 meters or more during the specified period. The initiative forms part of the Ministry’s efforts to monitor and manage fisheries resources while ensuring the safety and efficiency of scientific operations.
