MUSCAT – The Forum was held at the India International Convention and Expo Centre in Greater Noida under the theme “From Nation Building to Global Collaboration: Fostering Trust and Enabling Growth.”
OCCI’s delegation included Dr. Abdullah bin Masoud Al Harthy, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Omani Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Program, and Mustafa Salman Ahmed, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Finance and Insurance Committee. Both took part in main sessions and specialised workshops covering financial governance, compliance, sustainability, digital transformation, and public-private sector collaboration.

Dr. Al Harthy highlighted that participation in the forum provided an important opportunity to gain insights into global best practices in accounting and governance, and to strengthen communication channels with professional institutions worldwide. He added that such engagement supports Oman’s business environment and the private sector’s growth in line with Oman Vision 2040.

He also noted that OCCI’s presence aligns with the implementation of the Omani CFO Program, a strategic initiative aimed at developing national talent in financial management, advanced accounting, and corporate governance. The program, conducted in cooperation with the ICAI Muscat – Oman Chapter and supervised by local and international experts, has successfully equipped participants with professional skills and globally recognized standards, preparing them to lead financial roles across public and private sector institutions and contributing to Oman’s economic transformation framework.
