MUSCAT – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) stated that its North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has arrested the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in the Wilayat of Liwa that resulted in the death of an Arab child.
According to the ROP, the driver fled the scene following the accident but was later apprehended by the authorities.
Legal procedures are currently being completed against him.
