Voltamp Energy reaches RO 268,500 amicable settlement with Credit Oman to resolve legal dispute

Following a referral by the Seeb Court of Appeal, Voltamp Energy has announced the successful conclusion of its legal dispute with the Oman Export Credit Agency (Credit Oman) through a mutual settlement agreement totalling RO 268,500.

MUSCAT : Voltamp Energy has disclosed on the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) that an amicable settlement has been reached between Voltamp Transformers Oman and the Oman Export Credit Agency, bringing related legal proceedings to a conclusion.

The disclosure reads as follows: “Further to the previous disclosure published on the MSX Oman website on 2 October 2025, including the decision of the Seeb Court of Appeal to refer the commercial case file to the Investment and Commerce Court of Appeal, we wish to inform shareholders and stakeholders that, based on the mutual understanding and agreement of the Boards of Directors of both companies, an amicable settlement has been reached concerning the aforementioned court case.

“The Boards of Directors of both company’s agreed on a final settlement amount of OMR 268,500 (Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand Five Hundred Omani Riyals) to fully resolve the claim, suspend, and terminate any further proceedings, and close the related case.

“In accordance with the settlement terms, the Export Credit Agency of Oman (Credit Oman) has settled the agreed settlement amount of OMR 268,500, and the case has been formally closed through mutual agreement and amicable settlement between the parties.”
