Muscat: As part of its ongoing commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and industry engagement, the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is organizing MCBS Aviation Week 2026, to be held on campus from 19 to 22 January 2026.

The four-day event brings together students, faculty, industry leaders, and regulatory stakeholders to explore the evolving landscape of aviation through expert-led sessions, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, student-focused activities, and an outdoor drone exhibition. The program addresses key global and national priorities, including Advanced Air Mobility, aviation sustainability, future aviation careers, and smart airport operations.

MCBS Aviation Week 2026 reflects the MCBS’ belief in experiential, future-focused education that bridges academic learning with real-world application. Each day of the program is dedicated to a thematic focus, ranging from airspace management and green aviation practices to student engagement and smart infrastructure, offering participants a comprehensive view of the aviation ecosystem.

The event features strong participation from leading industry partners and regulatory authorities, reinforcing MCBS’s position as a national platform where academic insight meets real-world aviation practice. Contributors include AeroVecto, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Ibn Firnas Drone Centre, Al Ankaa Technologies, and Air Side, among others, all contributing to a rich exchange between policy, innovation, and applied learning.

MCBS Aviation Week 2026 represents a key milestone within the funded program delivered under the College’s strategic agreement with Boeing, reflecting the tangible outcomes of international industry collaboration in advancing aviation education and innovation in Oman.
