MUSCAT – The Authority explained that the warning was issued after identifying the possibility of the bottles exploding during use, which could result in injuries to consumers. This measure forms part of the CPA’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers from unsafe products in the market.
As a precaution, the CPA has urged consumers to immediately stop using the affected bottles and to contact the company to arrange a free replacement. The Authority also confirmed that it continues to carry out its supervisory role through regular monitoring of markets across the Sultanate of Oman to ensure the removal of the specified products and to maintain a safe consumer environment.
In addition, the CPA advised consumers to exercise caution when purchasing products from online retail platforms and to ensure that goods comply with approved specifications and standards.
