MUSCAT – His Excellency Eng. Saeed bin Hamoud bin Saeed Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, announced that 160 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations have been installed across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman by 2025.
Speaking at the Ministry’s annual media meeting, the Minister said efforts are continuing to expand EV infrastructure nationwide, with a target to install 200 additional charging points during 2026.
