MUSCAT : Authorities in Oman have arrested a man of African nationality in connection with the murder of another person of the same nationality in the North Batinah Governorate, police said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Royal Oman Police said the suspect was taken into custody by the North Batinah Governorate Police Command following investigations into the killing.
Police added that preliminary findings showed both the accused and the victim were working illegally at a farm at the time of the incident. Authorities said legal procedures are being completed in accordance with the law.
