Muscat — The Royal Oman Police announced that Thursday, January 8, 2026, will be an official holiday for employees working under formal duty schedules, marking the Annual Police Day.
In a statement issued by the Directorate General of Security Relations and Media, the Royal Oman Police said the holiday applies to personnel in police formations that operate under the official working-hour system.
The police clarified that all police stations and service centres will continue to operate normally, providing essential services to the public around the clock, in line with their mandate to maintain security and public safety.
