Muscat: The MSX 30 index ended the session at 6,006.10 points, gaining 66.7 points, or 1.12 per cent, compared to the previous close of 5,939.38 points.
Trading activity also picked up significantly, with total traded value reaching RO 62.43 million, marking a 47.5 per cent increase from the RO 42.33 million recorded in the previous session.
According to the exchange’s daily report, the market’s total capitalisation rose by 0.503 per cent, reaching approximately RO 32.58 billion, reflecting broad-based gains across listed securities.

Foreign investor participation remained positive during the session. Non-Omani purchases stood at RO 3.37 million, accounting for 5.40 per cent of total trades, while non-Omani sales amounted to RO 2.89 million, or 4.63 per cent. As a result, net non-Omani investment increased by RO 480,000, representing 0.77 per cent of total trading activity.
