Banks in Oman to close branches to the public on January 1 for annual closing procedures

Electronic banking services, including ATMs and digital platforms, will remain available as branches resume operations on January 4.

MUSCAT : Banks across Oman will be closed to customers on Thursday, January 1, as part of their annual closing works and procedures, according to customer notices.

Financial institutions said banking services will remain available through electronic channels, including ATMs, cash deposit machines, mobile banking and online platforms, with normal branch operations scheduled to resume on Sunday, January 4.
