Muscat: In an official notice, the Ministry clarified that the zip-lining activity being carried out at Tanuf Arch does not have the required approvals and poses a serious threat to public safety. Authorities cited the site’s complex and fragile geological formations as a key reason for the ban, stressing that such conditions significantly increase the risk of accidents.
The Ministry reiterated that only licensed and officially approved adventure tourism activities are permitted across the Sultanate. It urged residents and visitors alike to exercise caution and ensure that any adventure or recreational activity they participate in meets regulatory standards.
