MUSCAT : According to officials, Coast Guard patrol boats, led by the Dhofar Governorate Police, stopped the vessel carrying four Yemeni nationals. The suspects were found in possession of quantities of narcotics allegedly intended for smuggling and trafficking into the country.
Authorities confirmed that the boat was intercepted while attempting to breach Omani waters unlawfully. Legal procedures against the accused are currently being finalised.
