Muscat: The landmark event marked the first alumni reunion held since the formal establishment of the ISWK Alumni Association and brought together generations of former students in a memorable celebration of shared heritage, lifelong friendships, and enduring connections.

The reunion was attended by ISWK alumni and their spouses/partners, including alumni from the earliest batches that graduated from the 10th and 12th grades, making it a truly historic gathering for the ISWK community.

The evening commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Antony Kallukaran, President of the ISWK Alumni Association, followed by addresses from Mr. D. N. Rao, Principal of ISWK, and Mr. Alkesh Joshi, Executive Director of the School Management Committee. The formal proceedings concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Jagdish Patil, one of ISWK’s long-serving faculty members.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of Long Service Awards, honouring faculty members who had completed 25 years or more of dedicated service to the institution.

The program also featured the screening of video messages from former teachers, evoking fond memories and emotional moments among the audience. The evening concluded with networking, dinner, and live entertainment by JukeBox, led by an alumni member, further reinforcing the spirit of camaraderie and nostalgia.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Antony Kallukaran, President of the ISWK Alumni Association, said:

“The objective of the ISWK Alumni Association is to pick up where alumni left off, by providing a strong platform to stay connected with the school and with one another. Through regular engagement via events, educational programs, and activities, we aim to foster lifelong relationships. To further this vision, we have introduced avenues for alumni to remain connected through the school’s Instagram presence and the newly launched alumni portal, designed to encourage continuous interaction and collaboration.”

The successful planning and execution of the reunion were driven by the dedicated efforts of the current ISWK Alumni Committee, led by Antony Kallukaran (President), Krunal Ahya (Vice-President), Nitin Arvind (Treasurer), Sasha Saldanha (Secretary), Makushla Santimano (Director of Events & Marketing), and Farren Pinto (Sports Coordinator). The committee was further supported by Joylene Pinto, Anisha Dias, Jobinson Babu, and Ernst Schwan, whose contributions played an integral role in the smooth conduct of the event.
