MUSCAT : The General Directorate of Education in Muscat Governorate said on Wednesday that a student shown in a video circulating on social media after being left inside a school bus is in good health, adding that the incident was addressed immediately in line with legal procedures.
In a statement, the directorate said the incident occurred on a school bus serving one of the schools in Muscat Governorate. It said all required measures were taken as soon as the matter was identified, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The education authority said it was following established regulations governing school transportation and student safety, without providing further details on the circumstances of the incident.
