MUSCAT : In a notice issued, the Ministry stated that all companies operating in the Sultanate of Oman, with the exception of public joint-stock companies, will be required to register their Beneficial Owner information on the Oman Business Platform.
The Ministry confirmed that the Beneficial Owner service will be activated on the platform starting Thursday, 11 December 2025, in line with Ministerial Decision No. 424/2023, which issued the Regulation Governing the Procedures for Identifying the Beneficial Owner.
The Ministry also affirmed that adding the Beneficial Owner will be mandatory for all companies, and that the required information and data must be provided in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Ministerial Decision.
