TAS Conclave 2025 concludes successfully, spotlighting Oman’s path toward Vision 2040

Building on the remarkable success of its previous four editions, the 5th TAS Conclave once again proved to be a pivotal national platform - bringing together a diverse array of stakeholders, esteemed thought leaders, policymakers, and influential business figures.

MUSCAT : Held under the patronage of His Excellency His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the 5th edition of the TAS Conclave concluded on a high note.

It brought together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and thought leaders who underscored the importance of strong public–private collaboration in realising Vision 2040 and advancing Oman’s sustainable growth agenda.

The forum celebrated Oman’s national progress while examining strategic pathways for the next phase of development across key sectors including diplomacy, infrastructure, technology, and education.

Throughout the forum, participants deliberated on Oman’s expanding economic significance and its rising influence on the global stage, exploring new avenues for collaboration, exchanging ideas, and fostering meaningful dialogue aimed at shaping a future where Oman’s economic strength plays a defining role regionally and internationally.

Held at Intercity Hotel Muscat under the theme “Progressing Beyond Barriers,” the conclave gathered distinguished personalities from government, business, education, banking, technology, and investment sectors. Across three high-impact sessions—Reimagining Banking, AI and Digital Transformation, and Shaping the Future of Investments in Oman—experts exchanged insights on Oman’s shifting economic landscape and the opportunities created by digitalisation, innovation, and investment reforms.

His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef presented the TAS Business Awards 2025, honouring a diverse group of outstanding achievers. The recipients included Said Abdullah Al Hatmi, CEO of Ahlibank, who received the Excellence in Leadership Award; Muhammad Faisal Nawaz, named Marketing Professional of the Year; and Archan Gupta, Head of Digital & Analytics at Liva Insurance, recognised for Excellence in Digital Marketing & Analytics. Adnan Al Alawi, CEO of Awasr, received the Outstanding Achievement of the Year Award, while Sami Al Zadjali of Liva Insurance was honoured for Excellence in Operations Leadership. Saud Al Zakwani, Vice President of IDS & CI at OQ Exploration & Production, was named Digital Transformation Leader 2025. Joyalukkas won Best Jewellery Brand of the Year, Woodlands Restaurant was awarded Outstanding Dining Experience, and Muscat College received the Excellence in Education Award. The MG RX9 was named Premium Family Car of the Year, and Mastermind Advertising won Agency of the Year. BankDhofar was recognised for Excellence in Customer Experience, while the Mitsubishi Xforce won Best Car Design of the Year. Lulu Hypermarket Oman was awarded Retailer of the Year 2025, and Sohar International was honoured twice—winning both Bank of the Year and Excellence in Digital Transformation. The Best 4WD of the Year was awarded to the Changan CS75 Plus, while Gargash Motors & General Trading LLC received the Outstanding Customer Experience Award. The Most Valuable Brand recognition went to Al Fidan Ceramics.

His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef also presented the TAS Icons 2025 honours, celebrating distinguished national leaders who have made significant contributions to Oman’s development and innovation landscape. The recipients included Faisal Al Nabhani, Managing Director of State Street for Oman and Qatar; Shabib Al Maamari, Managing Director of Visit Oman; Mohsin Hani Al Bahrani, CEO of MHD ACERE; Ahmed Al Ajmi, CEO of Thuraya Biz; and Ibtisam Al Khaifi, CEO of Simat Human Development. These leaders were recognised for their exceptional vision, industry influence, and commitment to driving progress across their respective sectors.

With rich discussions, high-level participation, and recognition of national talent, TAS Conclave 2025 successfully reaffirmed its position as one of Oman’s most influential thought-leadership platforms. This year’s edition emphasised the urgency of innovation, the power of partnerships, and the nation’s steady momentum toward a future defined by knowledge, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
