Muscat: After a high-energy opening day, excitement is now at its peak as young athletes from schools across Oman gear up for the ultimate showdown.

Organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS) in partnership with Morning Stars Badminton Club, the two-day championship has already become a standout event on the school sports calendar. The tournament began yesterday, November 21, with an intense schedule of 108 matches played by 120 players, pushing participants to their absolute limits and setting the stage for a thrilling finale.

Today’s final day features decisive clashes across boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles in both Under-13 and Under-17 categories. With a mix of rising prodigies and seasoned school-level talents, the competition is expected to deliver high-speed rallies, nail-biting finishes, and standout performances as players fight for the top honours.

Adding colour and energy to the atmosphere, schools are also competing for a special Nataraj-sponsored Cheerleading Award. The school with the most spirited and electrifying cheering squad will take home an exclusive gift hamper from the tournament’s Gold Sponsor.

The event is supported by a strong lineup of partners and sponsors, including Badr Al Samaa as Healthcare Partner and Hyundai as Automotive Partner. Associate sponsors Supa Sportsman, Modern Business Enterprise LLC, Oman Refreshments, Easy Store & Easy Care, Cumin Caterings, Kosmos Badminton Academy, and Maple Graphics have also played key roles in powering the tournament.

At the end of today’s clashes, the top-performing school will be crowned champion and awarded the prestigious Ever-Rolling Trophy, along with medals, certificates, and special recognition for standout athletes.
