120 players, 108 matches, Day 1 of TAS Interschool Badminton Tournament ends on a high note

MUSCAT : Kicking off an eventful day at the Kosmos Badminton Academy in Wadi Kabir, 120 players tested their limits, playing 108 matches to filter out the top performers

With electrifying school spirit, the two-day championship provided intense rallies, rising stars, and a celebration of youth sportsmanship like never before.

Organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS) in partnership with the Morning Stars Badminton Club, has already captured the attention of students, parents, and sports enthusiasts across Oman. The event, taking place on November 21 and 22, has drawn an overwhelming response with schools sending participants eager to compete on the court.

The championship features boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles in both Under-13 and Under-17 categories.

Adding to the excitement, the school with the most spirited and energetic cheerleading squad will win a special gift hamper from Nataraj, the tournament’s Gold Sponsor. Badr Al Samaa comes in as Healthcare Partner, Hyundai joins as the Automotive Partner, while Supa Sportsman, Modern Business Enterprise LLC, Oman Refreshments, Easy Store & Easy Care, Cumin Caterings, Kosmos Badminton Academy, and Maple Graphics extend their support as Associate Sponsors.

The top-performing school will take home the prestigious Ever-Rolling Trophy, awarded annually, along with medals, certificates, and special recognition for exceptional performances on court.
