MUSCAT : The carnival will be held from 19-29 November 2025.
Faisal bin Humaid Al Hajri, Chairman of Bidiyah Automobile Club, stated that the Bidiyah Carnival 2025 is organised by the Club and the Oman Automobile Association, supervised by the Office of the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah, and in partnership with a number of public and private sector institutions and civil society organizations. It includes more than 14 diverse events, such as car championships, challenge competitions, folk games, horse and camel shows, a consumer exhibition, musical and poetic evenings, a sports march, and other accompanying activities.
He mentioned that the Carnival includes the inauguration of the special corner for the Directorate General of Agriculture and Water Resources in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the Environment Authority corner, and the promotional corner for the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. In addition, it features the opening of the SME Village and a consumer exhibition, which serves as an opportunity for institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs to showcase their products to carnival visitors and tourists from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman.
Al Hajri explained that the events also include organizing an evening titled ‘Lahn Al Rimal’ (Melody of the Sands) with the participation of elite poets and artists from the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, there will be events titled ‘Samaa Bidiyah’ (Bidiyah Sky), which include paragliding, kite flying, and remote-controlled aircraft activities, the Bidiyah Tourism Carnival march covering a distance of 5 km, and the ‘Tourism, Innovation, and Camping’ exhibition.
