MUSCAT – During the meeting, His Excellency Shoigu conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, along with his best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people for continued progress and prosperity.

His Majesty reciprocated the greetings and asked His Excellency to convey his best wishes to President Putin and the friendly people of Russia for further advancement and well-being.

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation in the security and military fields, and reviewed avenues of joint collaboration aimed at enhancing regional security and stability. A number of issues of common interest were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office.
