MUSCAT – Preliminary statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information indicated that the average price of oil fell by 12.8 percent, averaging US$72 per barrel until the end of September 2025, down from US$82.6 per barrel during the same period in 2024.
In contrast, the average daily oil production rose slightly by 0.1 percent, reaching 995,200 barrels per day by the end of September 2025, compared to 994,200 barrels per day during the same period last year.
Oman’s total oil production decreased by 0.3 percent, recording 271,696,800 barrels by the end of September 2025, compared to 272,411,400 barrels in the same period of 2024.
