London: Webb, founder and CEO of the Institute for the Future, was recognized for her pioneering work in strategic foresight and technological trend analysis.

The Future Readiness Award celebrates innovative and impactful contributions that enhance preparedness for future changes across sectors. This year’s edition drew over 300 global submissions, including books, research studies, and leadership frameworks, reflecting a rich diversity of thought on how to navigate the challenges of tomorrow.

Amy Webb, one of the world’s most influential futurists, has developed scientific models now used in major universities and international corporations. Her insights have guided governments and organizations in anticipating and adapting to technological and economic transformations, translating complex trends into actionable strategies and leadership policies.

Speaking at the event, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Qasim Al Lawati, President of the Royal Academy of Management, emphasized the award’s vision to embed “readiness” as a sustainable leadership mindset.

“The world is moving beyond competitiveness. We are living in a new era — an era of future readiness — where the true measure of nations and institutions lies in their ability to adapt and thrive amid rapid change,” he said.

He added that this award marks the Academy’s first global initiative following several successful regional programs, underscoring its mission to celebrate leaders and thinkers who embody foresight, innovation, and responsible progress.

Des Dearlove, co-founder of the Fifty Thinkers Foundation, commended the partnership, noting that the award reflects a shared belief in boundary-crossing leadership.
