MUSCAT : Upon the arrival of His Majesty’s cortege at the palace outskirts, it was escorted by a squadron of the Royal Cavalry. His Majesty was warmly received by Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain, who extended their best wishes to the Sultan and the accompanying official delegation for a successful visit and pleasant stay in Spain.
Following the reception, His Majesty and the Spanish Monarchs ascended the dais of honour, during which the Omani Royal Anthem and Spanish National Anthem were played, accompanied by a 21-gun salute in honour of the Sultan.
His Majesty then proceeded to inspect the Guard of Honour.
