MUSCAT : The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) proudly announces the appointment of two distinguished alumnae — Mrs. Dahlia Al Riyami and Ms. Insherah Bawazir — to its Board of Governors. Both were among the College’s earliest undergraduate cohorts and graduates of the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) partnership program.
Dr. Muneer Al Maskari, Executive Chairperson of MCBS, remarked:

With over 19 years of experience in human resources, talent management, and organisational development at Petroleum Development Oman, the U.S. Embassy, and MCBS, Mrs. Dahlia Al-Riyami brings strategic vision and a people-centred approach to the Board of Governors. An MCBS alumna and former Director of Admissions, she exemplifies lifelong learning and leadership, strengthening the college’s commitments to innovation, good governance, and Oman Vision 2040.
Ms. Insherah Bawazir, Country Head of Human Resources at Standard Chartered Bank Oman, offers deep expertise in people and culture strategy, talent development, and organizational transformation. She brings an international perspective and a focus on localization, diversity, and leadership development, contributing valuable private sector insight to the Board’s strategic direction.
