MUSCAT – The participation comes as part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to promote the Sultanate of Oman as a distinctive global tourist destination, highlighting its rich natural diversity, deep-rooted heritage, and authentic culture.
The Ministry aims to use this international platform to enhance Oman’s global presence in the tourism market, promote its wide range of tourism offerings – from adventure and eco-tourism to cultural and luxury travel – and build strategic partnerships and agreements that will further strengthen the foundations of the tourism sector in the Sultanate.

The Oman pavilion at WTM 2025 will feature broad participation from key tourism sector partners, including leading national institutions such as the Omran Group, Oman Air, Oman Airports, the National Travel Operator, the Oman Across Ages Museum, the National Museum, and the Royal Opera House Muscat, alongside 29 tourism establishments representing hotel chains, travel and tourism companies, and tour operators.
The Ministry’s participation in this prestigious global event provides an important opportunity to forge new international partnerships, attract quality investments, and develop innovative tourism projects that enhance Oman’s competitiveness and boost the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
Through its presence at WTM, the Ministry also seeks to strengthen its international network of relationships in the global tourism industry and showcase Oman’s tourism potential to travel professionals, investors, and media representatives.
During the exhibition, the Ministry will unveil a number of new tourism initiatives and projects across key growth areas such as cultural tourism, adventure tourism, and ecotourism, offering visitors a comprehensive view of Oman’s evolving tourism experience. The design of the Omani pavilion will reflect the diversity and authenticity of the country’s tourism offerings while incorporating emerging global trends in sustainable and experience-based travel.
The World Travel Market (WTM) is one of the most prominent annual gatherings in the global tourism industry, serving as a hub for networking, partnership building, and knowledge exchange. The event attracts representatives from over 185 countries and nearly 50,000 professionals from across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors.
WTM also features a wide array of conferences and panel discussions addressing the latest developments in the global tourism landscape, including digital transformation, sustainable tourism practices, and innovative travel experiences.
