Oman’s Shura Council to begin third regular term of tenth session on November 9

The announcement was made by the Shura Council following the issuance of the Royal command, in accordance with Article (41) of the Law of the Council of Oman.

MUSCAT : Acting on the Royal directive of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Shura Council will convene the opening session of the third regular term for the tenth session (2023–2027) on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

The announcement was made by the Shura Council following the issuance of the Royal command, in accordance with Article (41) of the Law of the Council of Oman, which stipulates that Council sessions are convened by Royal order, whether for ordinary or extraordinary terms.

The third regular annual sitting for the period 2025–2026 marks a continuation of the Council’s legislative and oversight duties, including discussion of national policies, development priorities, and key legislative proposals aligned with Oman Vision 2040.

The Shura Council expressed its appreciation for His Majesty’s continued guidance and confidence, affirming its commitment to contributing to the country’s progress and supporting national aspirations.
