MUSCAT : Organized by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat), the global event, held under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities”, will highlight Oman’s growing leadership in startups, technology, and enterprise development.

Set to begin next Wednesday in the Saudi capital, the forum will feature 20 Omani startups under the “Startups Gate” section, offering them a platform to showcase their innovative models, connect with investors, and explore partnerships within the regional and global entrepreneurship ecosystem.

In parallel, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will represent 10 Omani brands across diverse sectors including artificial intelligence, mobility, technology, and communications. This participation aims to strengthen Oman’s economic diversification efforts and boost the contribution of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to the national GDP by enabling local brands to access new international markets.

The “Biban 2025” forum is one of the region’s largest gatherings for entrepreneurs and investors, featuring participation from more than 150 countries, 200 local and international speakers, and over 1,000 exhibitors. The event will serve as a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and investment, aligning closely with Oman’s Vision 2040 goals to nurture innovation-driven growth.

Adding to the excitement, the forum will host the grand finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025, where 100 entrepreneurial projects from 46 countries will compete for prizes exceeding USD 1.5 million.
