MUSCAT : “Do not be complacent, and do not fall victim to fake jobs,” stated CBO’s alert, which pointed out that licensed financial institutions in Oman do not advertise job vacancies via WhatsApp.
“They do not ask you to open bank accounts for collecting and transferring funds; they do not ask anyone to conduct transactions through virtual asset platforms,” it stressed.
