MUSCAT : The Ministry of Energy and Minerals has announced the establishment of the Development Foundation for Social Responsibility in the Energy Sector, marking a major step toward unifying efforts and advancing sustainable development in alignment with Oman Vision 2040.
The new foundation aims to strengthen the social and developmental impact of the energy sector by creating a unified institutional framework that drives long-term sustainability initiatives across the Sultanate. It will serve as a central platform to coordinate social responsibility programs implemented by companies and stakeholders in the energy domain.
As part of this launch, Eng. Mohammed Al Ghareebi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation. His appointment reflects the ministry’s commitment to empowering leadership and ensuring effective execution of the foundation’s developmental goals.
