MUSCAT — Omani runner Yazeen bin Rashid Al Shamsi has claimed the bronze medal in the 800-metre race at the ongoing Asian Youth Athletics Championships being held in Bahrain.
Representing Oman’s national athletics team, Al Shamsi delivered an impressive performance in a highly competitive final, securing third place and adding to the Sultanate’s growing reputation in regional track and field events.
