MUSCAT : The new Madha Industrial City, spanning 259,414 square meters, represents a strategic addition to Madayn’s network of industrial estates across the Sultanate. Designed to attract diverse investments and empower entrepreneurs, the project aims to provide advanced infrastructure, competitive incentives, and direct and indirect employment opportunities for Omani citizens.
According to Engineer Saleh bin Salman Al-Abri, Director General of Facilities and Infrastructure at Madayn, the project encompasses the development of internal road networks, water, electricity, and sewage systems, among other essential services. He noted that six dedicated industrial spaces will be developed within the Madayn Entrepreneurial Complexes project, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.
The project’s foundation traces back to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said’s directive during his visit to Musandam in January 2024, calling for the establishment of an industrial city in Saih Al Wasat, Madha. Since then, Madayn has completed the detailed master plan, design approvals, soil and traffic studies, and topographical analyses, culminating in the preparation of tender documents for execution.
