Indian School Bousher students excel in IIT Madras Certification Courses

The school partnered with IIT Madras in June 2025, marking the beginning of a new academic collaboration aimed at fostering innovation and bridging the gap between school education and higher education.

MUSCAT : Indian School Bousher proudly announces the remarkable achievements of its students who have successfully completed the Certification Courses offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) under the School Connect Program.

The school partnered with IIT Madras in June 2025, marking the beginning of a new academic collaboration aimed at fostering innovation and bridging the gap between school education and higher education. This year’s participants enrolled for August 2025 represent the first batch of students from Indian School Bousher to enroll in the prestigious program.

The School Connect Program is a flagship outreach initiative of the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) at IIT Madras. It is designed to introduce school students to higher-order thinking, research-based learning, and 21st-century skills through interactive digital modules and expert-led instruction.

Through this partnership, students of Indian School Bousher had the opportunity to pursue certification courses in areas such as Introduction to Data Science and AI,Introduction to Electronic Systems, Introduction To Architecture & Design, Introduction to Engineering Biological Systems, Fun with Math and Computing, Humanities Unplugged, The Fundamentals of Aerospace and so on.

These courses, curated and delivered by IITM faculty and domain specialists, provided early exposure to university-level concepts and applications.

A total of 56 students from Indian School Bousher have successfully completed their certification courses and will be receiving their certificates from IIT Madras. Notably, three students, Bhadra Biju (Introduction to Architecture and Design), T. Veera Ishaan (Introduction to Engineering Biological Systems) and Roofeya Manaal (Introduction to Engineering Biological Systems) achieved a perfect score, showcasing their exceptional commitment, diligence, and academic excellence.

The management and staff of Indian School Bousher extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the achievers and expressed their appreciation for the students’ enthusiasm for learning beyond the conventional curriculum. The school remains committed to promoting such transformative educational partnerships that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
