MUSCAT : The two-day event will gather over 400 participants, including 54 speakers and moderators from more than 50 nationalities, to explore opportunities in tourism, smart manufacturing, and green finance.
His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Dheeb, Vice Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones and Chairman of the Forum’s Supervisory Committee, said the event serves as a vital platform for experts, investors, and decision-makers to foster major multinational projects in Duqm, particularly in tourism, urban development, and AI-powered industries.
He emphasized that this second edition of the forum will focus on attracting sustainable investments and accelerating digital transformation across key sectors. With participation from 23 international and 19 Omani experts, the discussions will span three main themes: Integrated Tourism and Lifestyle Development, Green Manufacturing and Renewable Industries, and Smart Cities Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation.

The opening day will feature four sessions. The first, “Unlimited Opportunities,” will highlight Oman’s economic milestones and Vision 2040’s role in strengthening renewable energy, tourism, and manufacturing. The second, “The Duqm Experience,” will showcase the region’s potential as a hub for luxury and adventure tourism. The third, “Building a Renewed Tourism Model,” will delve into innovative investment frameworks that balance environmental preservation with economic growth.
The day’s final session, “The Green Plan,” will explore the integration of artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and green hydrogen to fuel a sustainable industrial revolution.
On the second day, discussions will shift to resilience and the future of Duqm’s infrastructure, covering themes such as smart borders, talent attraction, and community empowerment through tourism.
