MUSCAT : The ceremony included the signing of a joint declaration to establish the Omani-Turkish Coordination Council and a joint statement on mutual visa exemptions for holders of ordinary passports, enhancing ease of travel between the two countries.
Additionally, six key agreements were signed, covering capital participation between Amber Limited and the Turkish Oyak Fund, as well as between the Uzbek-Omani Company and the Oyak Fund. Other agreements include cooperation between the Omani Food Investment Company and Oyak Food and Agriculture Holding, collaboration between Oman Data Company and Anovance Information Technology Company, government cooperation on land allocation for the Turkish Maarif Foundation to establish an educational institution in Oman, and a partnership between Sinan Advanced Industries Company and the Turkish Aselsan Company.
Furthermore, eight memoranda of understanding were signed to strengthen collaboration in areas such as military affairs, defense industries, media and communications, competition protection and anti-monopoly measures, industrial cooperation, science, technology and innovation, and strategic cooperation between the Oman Investment Authority and the Turkish Sovereign Wealth Fund.
These agreements mark a significant step forward in deepening the multifaceted partnership between Oman and Turkey, reflecting the shared commitment to expanding cooperation across economic, educational, technological, and strategic sectors.
