MUSCAT : According to the latest analysis and satellite imagery, the system is currently located at latitude 8.8°N and longitude 68.2°E, with estimated surface wind speeds around the centre ranging from 20 to 25 knots (38–46 km/h).
The tropical depression is expected to continue moving north to northwest without any direct impact over the Sultanate of Oman. Sea is expected to be slight to moderate along the Arabian Sea coasts, with maximum wave heights ranging between 1 and 2 meters.
Meteorologists at the Early Warning Center are closely monitoring developments and will provide further updates as necessary.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has advised the public to stay informed by following official weather bulletins and reports issued by Oman Meteorology.
