Muscat : From reshaping Oman’s insurance industry to inspiring the next generation of women leaders, Hanaa Al Hinai, CEO of Liva Insurance, was honoured at The Arabian Stories Women Summit – HerStory, where she was celebrated with the prestigious title of “CEO of the Year.”

The summit, hosted at InterCity Hotel, was organised by The Arabian Stories as a platform
to recognise women who are redefining leadership in Oman. It brought together an
exceptional line-up of speakers and participants from across industries to share experiences,
celebrate achievements, and chart a bold vision for the future of women in leadership.
In addition to receiving the award, Ms. Al Hinai also joined a distinguished panel discussion
on “Collective Leadership Transforming Oman’s Future.”

During the session, she reflected on the power of collaboration, inclusivity, and shared responsibility, noting that Oman’s progress depends on all sectors of society working together.

She drew on her own leadership journey to illustrate how teamwork and trust are critical to
unlocking potential, and emphasised that empowering women is not just about equity but a
strategic necessity that drives innovation, fuels resilience, and ensures long-term national
growth.

Speaking after receiving the award, Ms. Al Hinai said: “Being recognised as CEO of the Year
is both humbling and deeply meaningful to me. It reflects not only my own journey, but the

award belongs to them as much as it does to me – to my team who bring passion and
