MUSCAT – Her Excellency Amer brings decades of foreign service expertise to the summit. A philology graduate from the University of Tartu, she began her diplomatic career in 1995 and has since held pivotal roles across the globe.
Her distinguished background includes postings at Estonian embassies in Warsaw, Helsinki, and Prague. She was also the deputy head of the Estonian embassy in Paris from 2013 to 2018 and concurrently served as the Estonian Ambassador to UNESCO (2016-2018). Most recently, she led the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2022. Her Excellency currently holds accreditations to Egypt, Jordan, and Mali.
Hosted by The Arabian Stories (TAS), the landmark event is set for October 15 in Muscat.
The summit, themed ‘Leading the Charge’, aims to be a high-profile platform to spotlight the contributions of pioneering Omani women, entrepreneurs, and policymakers, fostering dialogue on women’s evolving role in the Sultanate’s future.
The program will feature keynote speeches and interactive sessions focusing on leadership, financial empowerment, and innovation, alongside panels such as the ‘Power of Women in Business’.
