MUSCAT : This initiative, in line with Article 116 of the Executive Regulations of the Tourism Law, aims to streamline the submission process and improve regulatory compliance within the tourism sector.
The Ministry has called on all owners and operators of tourist-classified hotels and restaurants to make their annual declarations through the Ministry’s electronic portal, and to ensure the required financial report approved by an external auditor is uploaded along with the submission.
Submission Deadlines:
• For fiscal year 2024: Submission deadline is December 31, 2025
• For fiscal year 2025: Submission deadline is March 31, 2026
The Ministry emphasised the importance of timely submission in order to comply with legal requirements and maintain accurate records of tourism-related activities in the Sultanate.
This digital service reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and promote transparency in the tourism sector, in line with national digital transformation objectives.
