Muscat – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that, within the framework of its ongoing diplomatic efforts and in coordination with regional partners, the return of an Omani citizen who participated in the ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’ and was detained by the Israeli occupation authorities has been successfully facilitated today.
The Ministry confirmed that all necessary measures were taken to ensure the citizen’s safety and wellbeing, paving the way for her return to the Sultanate.
In its statement, the Ministry expressed sincere gratitude to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as to the brotherly and friendly countries that contributed to the success of this humanitarian mission.
