Muscat – The Met office indicated that the system is currently classified as a tropical deep depression, with wind speeds around the centre ranging between 28–33 knots.
The weather system is located at latitude 19.7°N and longitude 60.5°E, approximately 180 km from the Omani coast, and is moving toward the central Arabian Sea.
