MINSK — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in the Republic of Belarus on Monday for a two-day state visit, marking a new chapter in the growing relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus.
Upon arrival in the capital Minsk, His Majesty was warmly received by President Alexander Lukashenko, who led the welcoming delegation at the Presidential Palace. The national anthems of both countries were played, followed by an official guard of honour ceremony.
The visit reflects His Majesty’s continued efforts to strengthen Oman’s international partnerships and explore new avenues for cooperation across political, economic, scientific, and cultural fields. Discussions during the visit are expected to focus on enhancing trade and investment exchanges, promoting technology collaboration, and advancing educational and health partnerships.

His Majesty is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers and senior officials.
