Muscat – The Ministry, represented by the Directorate General of Vocational Colleges (Sohar Vocational College), signed to agreement to develop the capabilities of national cadres, enhance their employability, and support sustainable development in line with Oman Vision 2040.
This initiative underscores the Ministry’s commitment to aligning educational outcomes with the needs of the labour market.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Ambusaidi, Director General of the Directorate General of Vocational Colleges, and Abdullah Al Sadi, General Manager of Sohar Operations Services Company.

Areas of cooperation under the agreement include capacity building through joint implementation of projects; training and development with specialised workshops, seminars, and lectures; collaboration on reviewing and updating academic and training programmes; follow-up on student trainees, etc.
